The VI International chamber music festival “Window to Switzerland” was held in Moscow from 8 to 15 of April. The main aim of the festival was acquaintance of Russian public with music culture of Switzerland, Russia and Western Europe, and especially with outstanding Swiss folk, classical and modern music performers.
This year for the first time the festival was also held in Krasnoyarsk the 10 of April in the Small Academic Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts.
Program of the concert includes pieces of Swiss and Western European composers of the 17-21st centuries such as J.S. Bach, J. M. Gletle, G.F. Telemann, G. Fritz, and pieces of modern composers: Bettina Skrypchak, Bernd Alois Zimmermann, Albert Roussel, and Max Keller.
The festival was presented by the Moscow ensemble "Telemann Consort".
Felix Renggli, flute, professor of The City of Basel Music Academy, one of the leading experts in the field of modern music. At the same time, Felix is interested in Baroque music and can play all types of antique flutes.
Svetlana Sumacheva, soprano, soloist of Musical theater n.a. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. Svetlana performs rich repertoire of chamber works and cooperates with ensemble of early music. She was on tour in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Italy and other countries of Europe.
